WHAT WE DO
Beautiful Bodies Inside and Out is an intervention program into the criminalization of young women of color. We believe that an intervention of criminalization is through a black feminist lens and should focus on analyzing the multiple discourses of oppression.
OUR FOUNDER
As a Black Feminist I wanted to contribute to the empowerment of young women of color because I am them and they are me. I wanted to deconstruct the problematic stereotypical notions of what is to be a black girl and redefine beauty by loving myself and my community by encouraging others to do so as well.
